Dear all

The difficult decision has been made to postpone our show sunday 5.2.12 due to severe weather warnings of significant snow fall and travel disruption pretty much country wide. We feel that to ask exhibitors, committee and judge to put themselves at risk to try and battle through is not worth it.

Our show manager will be calling all exhibitors to let them know, but in case you know someone who was due to come that hadn't entered I would be grateful if you could pass this message on to them.

Obviously this is a huge disappointment, but we are hoping to have our show with our planned AGM on Saturday 31.3.12 at Bisley so if exhibitors wish to hold their entries over they can discuss this with Mary when she calls.

Difficult decision, but really the only sensible one in the circumstances.

Jane

"Familial Nephropathy - kidney disease"

The committee of the S.M.B.T.C were recently informed of the passing of two of the great Ladies of the breed,

Quita Youatt (Kearby) on New Years Day and our very own Patron and founder member,

Diane Berry (Zedbees) on 15.1.11.

Both affixes are known throughout the World and both have contributed a huge amount to the Minis we have today.

Both ladies will be greatly missed as they were the last of a great breed who were dedicated to Bull Terriers and Miniature Bull Terriers and I am sure their families will be feeling the loss of two great characters. I recently heard it said that "at least they will be able to talk about bullies together" and I think that would please them both. Our sinceres condolences go to Quita and Diane's families.

In case you don't know the dog in our Club logo is a Zedbees dog and I can't think of a more fitting way for Diane Berry and her famous Zedbees dogs to stay in our memories.
